Final Euro 2020 (Liver) Pool (get it?!?) Standings

So here we are. For one shining moment, it seemed like Jordan Henderson would stake his claim for the best Liverpool trophy case of all time. (Then again, Alison Fabinho and Firmino almost got a counter argument Saturday night.)

But no. It didn’t happen. Italy are champions. England are England.

There was a PACKED house at the Monro yesterday. Inside, backyard and front. It was a glorious thing to see, hear and smell. Some of us even remember how to bar drum to “Coming in the Air Tonight.” Some of you obviously forgot. It’s OK. With a little luck, we’ll all be there again soon again.

So here’s what “England gotta England,” did to our pool:

Mikey gets first pick of the prizes: 1. A bucket of Carlsberg, 2. 1 Carlsberg, 3. ohgeehipster’s bag of change.

All three will get bragging rights. Especially because I beat Lauren by one point, knocking her to 4th.
